For the last few years we’ve seen an abundance of ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ posters, merchandise, greetings cards and stuff appear - they seem to be everywhere and have also manifested into all kinds of parodies and joke versions such as ‘Keep Calm and Drink Vodka’ and ‘Keep Calm and Bake Cupcakes’, to name just a couple!
It’s fascinating to learn though, how the ‘Keep Calm’ phenomenon began in 2001 - almost 50 years later than intended - and how its popularity spread like wildfire amongst UK and beyond!
